Donald Trump's trip to Dublin, Ireland on the 12th September meant airspace restrictions were put into place by the Irish Aviation Authority. The restrictions encompassed the racing area for the ILCA 6 Women's World Championship around Dún Laoghaire harbour - and meant that the final had to be pushed back 30 minutes in order to clear the restrictions when they ceased at 1330. This is due to the broadcast relying on drones to cover the action. It wasn't a big deal for the broadcast team or race management; thankfully, the wind was plentiful, but it may well be a taste of more to come when sailing hits Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympics.
